General Dog Questions

Will my dog be kenneled with other dogs?

No. We do not allow strange dogs to play together unless specified by the owners themselves.
 

Do I need to bring food?

No you do not , unless the dog is very fussy and you feel he might not eat the balanced diet we provide, or he has a medical condition requiring special food.
 

Can my dog have his toys or a bone?

Yes, he can, if allowed by you, then it is ok to give your dog his toys or a bone.
 

Can I bring his own bed?

Yes you can .Although a hammock and bedding are supplied by us, you are welcome to bring along your dogs favourite bed. It must be clearly labelled.
 

Is the kennel 'indoors'?

No it is a besser brick style with run attached. The kennels are weather proof. We are aware that many dogs are house dogs and with that in mind, in very cold weather we rug dogs that we feel may be more likely to feel the cold. You are welcome to bring your dogs own coats as well.
 

We do have an emergency area inside our kennel cottage to crate over night the very small or old dog but this is limited and incurs additional costs.
 

Will my dog get exercised during his stay?

Yes. Your dog will take advantage of the exercise runs to stretch his legs for a while and run around if he so desires.In summer these have a wading pool in them in case he wants a dip.Many dogs enjoy this.

Things You need to know:

• You will be required to fill in a terms and conditions form before admittance.
   
• Overtly aggressive dogs will not be admitted.
   
• Dogs must be on a lead at all times when alighting from a vehicle or being collected and put into same.
   
• We must be advised of any exsisting medical conditions or idiocyncracies prior to admission of the dog so that he/she can be properly cared for .
   
• Children accompanying adults must be kept under control.
