FAQ

By: Northern Districts Cattery

Q. How are the cats treated?
A. Like valued guests. They're all VIPs when they're here. They get full attention, and there is someone on site pretty much 24 hours a day.

Q. My cat is not good with other cats. Will that be a problem?
A. Cats are kept separate to avoid fighting and passing on disease. All cats however will get plenty of exercise.

Q. There seems to be such a peaceful atmosphere at your cattery. How do you account for that?
A. The cats are well fed and happy. That is the secret! They are like guests in a hotel or spoilt just like at home!

Q. Do you give medication?
A. Of course, as long as we are properly informed in advance and at no charge.

Q. What happens if my cat gets sick while in your care?
A. We have a 24 hour on-call vet available and do not hesitate to use them where necessary.

Q. Does it take long for a cat to get used to it's surroundings?
A. Not really. Cat's are resiliant and as long as they are in a pleasant environment they will settle down quickly normally after the first nights stay.

Q. Your cattery smells so clean! How come?
A. Just very high standards of cleanliness.
