Frequently Asked Questions
What time can I bring my pet in?
We are open from 8.00am to 11.30am and from 2.30pm to 6.00pm every day except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Sunday when we are closed. You are welcome to bring your animal in at any time during those hours, no appointment necessary. We are also available outside of those hours by prior arrangement.
What do I Need to bring?
All dogs must be on a lead and cats must be contained within a carry box (We are on a major highway and don't want any holidays to start with an avoidable tragedy). Please ensure that you have any medications your pet may require, along with your pet's Vaccination Certificate as we need to site it prior to entry.
Can I bring their bed and toys?
You are welcome to bring a small bed or blanket for your pet and a toy. While every effort is made to return these in good order, sometimes they may be damaged or destroyed. Please note we do not allow products containing bean bag beans or down.
What about their winter coat?
Winter coats are great and we welcome them, but please ensure they are clearly marked with your dog's name.
What happens if my pet becomes sick?
We will endeavour to contact you or your emergency contact to appraise you of the situation. We prefer to use your vet, as they know your animal best, but if it is an emergency or distance is an issue, we will use our vet who is available 24hrs.
My dog is really friendly so can he board with a friend?
We only board dogs from the same family together, but we do mix compatible dogs at exercise time (under supervision) and our layout ensures that your dog is still able to socialise whilst in his own kennel.
My cat doesn't like other cats. Is that a problem?
Certainly not. Under no circumstances do we mix cats from different families.
Do you offer pick-up and delivery service?
Yes, we offer a local pick-up and delivery service to Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Koroit. Other areas may be available so please ask us for a quote.
