FAQ

By: K9 Poopickup

How do I get started?

Simply give us a call on 0449 924 955 or email us at service@k9poopickup.com.au. We will arrange a time a time to come around, meet you and your pooch, discuss your requirements and then get to work!

Do I have to sign a contract?

Not at all, you are under no obligation to continue the service for a set period and can discontinue the service at any time.

What areas do you cover?

We service all of Canberra.

Do I need to be home during the service?

Not at all. As long as we can access your yard we will just get on with the job and you will come home to a clean and poo-free yard.

What if my dog is not good with strangers?

You can still use the service though if you are not home you will need to make sure your dog is secured for the duration of our visit.

What payment methods do you accept?

You will be invoiced fortnightly and can pay by cash, cheque or direct deposit. Of course, if you are home at the time, you can pay right there and then.

What if my grass is long?

Long grass increases the chances of missing a few doggy deposits and can also make it difficult to scoop them up cleanly. You will get a better finish if you keep your grass relatively short and the yard tidy.

What if my yard hasn't seen any pickup action in a long long time?

We do reserve the right to charge an additional first time fee, however, we will be sure to let you know beforehand. In most circumstances this isn't necessary.

What if something goes wrong? Are you insured?

Obviously we take great care to ensure that nothing goes wrong, however, you can rest assured that we are fully insured!

What do you do with all the um... poo?

All waste is double bagged in bio-degradable bags and disposed of at the ACT tip. Unfortunately, because of the bugs and parasites, it does not make for a healthy compost.
