I was also guaranteed that if in any unforseen circumstance my mare needed to be rehomed she would be going to live with Charlies Angels. “Many months ago we found ourselves in the position of having too many horses. Unfortunately our circumstances changed and meant we had to not only move away from our home but also get rid of many of our beloved horses as quickly as humanly possible. After much searching we came across Charlie’s Angles website. It enabled us to look away from the slaughter houses and focus on a more humane way of ridding ourselves of our beloved animals.

We sent an email to Jo through her website and were contacted within 24 hours. With what we were praying for. A helping hand. Within a day of this conversation we compiled a list of horses, pictures and breeds and sent them of to Jo. It was amazing if anything the amount of help she gave us. Considering we had foals, breeding mares, hurt horses we didn’t have a lot of hope that Charlie’s Angels were going to be able to help us rehome all these horses. But in this we were more than grateful for their assistance. They even gave us the names of other people that would be willing to try and help us. And even when we weren’t on top of things, because we were worrying about other things, Jo never lost her patience with us, and continued to help us. It was very reassuring to know that there were people out there who were more than willing to help us in our time of need.

Within a couple of months we were able to find homes for most of the horses we had to rehome. If it wasn’t for the help of Jo and the Charlie’s Angels we would no doubt be having to send horses to the “meat” sales for other reason than we were out of options. This option was very unappealing to us. We will always be thankful for the help Charlie’s Angels were able to give us and their constant support. We would be willing to gladly pass any information we have about the Charlie’s Angels on to anyone who wanted or needed their help for we found it to be invaluable. They fight the good fight, and do it brilliantly.
