Red Hen Chick is an all purpose poultry chick starter food suitable for meat bird and pullet chicks, waterfowl (ducks, geese, etc.), game birds (pheasant, quail, peacocks, etc.) and turkeys. It is a nutritious blend of natural grains and other quality ingredients scientifically formulated to ensure strong growth, health and vitality in young chicks. These nutritious ingredients are formed into clean and palatable micro crumbles to ensure minimum feed wastage and maximum feed consumption. Red Hen Chick leads the way in healthy chick nutrition.
Red Hen Pullet is an all purpose poultry grower food designed to be fed to growing pullets and other poultry that are intended for egg production and breeding when fully grown. Red Hen Layer is a natural country farm style blend of nutritious grains and pelleted ingredients specifically formulated for laying and breeding hens. High energy Red Hen Free Range Layer is a natural country farm style blend of grains and other nutritious ingredients specifically formulated for laying and breeding hens. This diet will enhance lay, increase egg size and contains a special breeder vitamin and mineral premix to ensure high fertility, improved hatchability and healthy day old chicks.
Red Hen Scratch is a mixture of natural grains fortified with calcium and methionine. Calcium is important for bone development and egg shell formation. Methionine is an essential amino acid that will improve growth, egg size and rate of lay.
Red Hen Scratch is intended to be fed to “Free Range” poultry that have access to fresh pasture and are able to scratch for natural worms and bugs. Under these conditions Red Hen Scratch will form the base diet with vitamins and extra protein being obtained from the hen’s natural foraging activities. The hen’s diet can also be supplemented with fresh household food scraps. If the free range conditions are not ideal it may be necessary to feed a complete layer food such as Red Hen Free Range Layer or Red Hen Layer. These diets are complete and require no other supplementary feeding.
