Riding Options

Horse riding is always a favourite activity and can be arranged for all ages over 2½. With our friendly family of horses in all shapes and sizes, why not come and bring the kids for a leisurely ride at Narnu, no experience is necessary.

Narnu Farm has catered the riding options to focus on an 'horse riding experience' for children and their famillies. We largely provide riding for 'first timers' with no experience and have a number of riding options to suit younger children, through to walking forest rides for kids and their parents. We also offer lessons where your can learn all the basics - steering, stopping, rise trotting! Lots of fun for the whole family.

¼ Hour Pony Ride

Ideal for younger children, this led pony ride meanders around the farm. This is a great option for the 'littlies', we have a range of ponies and horses to suit everyone.

½ Hour Trail Ride

Ideal for all ages, this walking trail ride is accompanied by Narnu staff on foot to offer assistance, advice and entertainment. This ride meanders through the farm and then across into a forest. With a myriad of tracks and trails this is a good fun ride. Spot the occasional sleepy lizard or Kangaroo!

1 Hour Riding Lesson

This option consists of ½ hour riding instruction in our indoor arena followed by the ½ hour forest ride. This is great option and can be catered for beginners through to experienced riders alike. Learn all the basic skills of riding - Steering, Stopping, Correct Position, Lifting Saddle (trotting). Your bound to have loads of fun!
