A Typical Day

The doggie day begins at 7.30am with breakfast. Then its off to play group with friends of similar size, age and energy level. The exercise program at Marendale is more extensive than any kennel we know of. There is no extra charge for this group exercise.

 

All this exercise will help to keep your dog fit, happy and socialised. Because we keep the dogs outside, running around and playing they sleep well at night and are always eager to return for their next visit.

 

We can also provide extras like individual playtime and one on one walks with one of our wonderful staff. Just ask when you come in.

 

Food

Our cooked chicken roll and special biscuits are very popular with our guests. We can cater for some special diets. If your vet has prescribed a special diet then discuss with our staff prior to boarding, it may be possible to bring that special food with you.

 

Picking up your pet

Departures 8am to 4pm Monday to Saturday (no Sundays or public holidays)

• Back early - please phone the office before arriving.
• You're late - leave a message or come in the next day (please do not ask us to stay open late)
• Extensions - Having a great time or need a bit longer - call the office.
• Need a pet taxi (door to door). Call the office.
• We have a responsibility to you and Spot. If you wish someone else to pick up your favourite you must inform us first.

 

Transport

Wow! Bet you did not know this! Pet taxi is available door to door (separate fee). Please call the office.

What does Fluffy do?

Cats handle boarding very well particularly as accommodation at Marendale starts at "Business Class". As soon as they arrive, they begin to relax and enjoy the creature comforts provided, such as scratching posts, comfy baskets and warm bedding. Fluffy will probably take this time as R & R and catch up on some ZZZZZ.

 

What will Fluffy eat?

Cats can be very fussy, so please tell us about their favourite foods. We have a large variety of wet and dry foods that should tempt even the most fussy cat - even roast chicken!

 

If Fluffy would like to stay on a particular diet it is fine to bring his special food from home.
