Maremma Livestock Protection Institute Of Australia. Breeders Of Bonded Dogs.
Apostate Maremma Stud was the first & presently the only registered Maremma Stud to be established in Western Australia. We established our stud to initially meet the needs of farmers, pastoralists, & graziers, in order to use the Maremma as a strategic force against livestock predators, such as foxes, dingos, & wild dogs. Demand has grown in the domestic market for our Maremma’s to protect poultry farms, hobby farms, & as companion/protector dogs by women living alone, providing they can be assured of adequate daily exercise.
Our objective is to:
Breed Maremmas strictly to Breed Type, For Conformation, & Temperament.
Our preference is to breed a Rugged, Big-Boned, Stronger type, of Maremma, with great Character & Presence.
Apostate Maremma Stud are inaugural members of the “Maremma Livestock Protection Institute Of Australia”(LPIA) & Members of Dogs West – The Canine Council Of Western Australia (CCWA), (Membership number 6100036044).
