As the owners of three cats: Taya, a confirmed “inside” cat; Freckle, an incorrigible bird-catcher; and Idgy who was prone to fighting with the neighbourhood cats, we decided the only way to keep them safe and happy was to provide them with their own outdoor haven.

Having previously lost two cats to cars and another to a possum attack, we knew something had to be done. We wanted something that would capture the feeling and adventure of the great outdoors, allow comfy spots to catch the sun, create a feeling of complete safety and, very importantly, keep our neighbourhood wildlife safe from their clutches.

And so as responsible cat owners, we built our first sturdy haven and have since added to it to create an exciting outdoor adventure playground.

We have since designed and created dozens of similar havens to keep a multitude of cats happy and safe. A Burmeze Triangle Cat Haven creates the perfect space for a contented cat - and just as importantly, contented owners as well.

Cat Havens
A variety of off-the-shelf cat havens which can free stand or be connected to an existing window or cat flap. All are 2m high and vary from 850mm square to 1.2 X 2.4m.

Custom Designs

We can custom design a haven to fit your space and your cat's needs. Just ask us for a quote.

Katwalkz

Connect your havens to your cat door and to other havens with these catwalks. Run them along the ground or high in the air to suit your own special set-up.

All havens come with at least two shelves - but extras can be added. Made from weldmesh with a durable PVC base for comfort.

Deckz
These trendy merbau decks are supported by treated pine bearers and provide the perfect floor, eliminating the need for paving under your haven.

Stepz

Large enough to sit on, or turn around on, this single step allows your cat to traverse the heights with ease. Locate them between mezzanine level for easy maneuvering around your haven.

Hammockz

Comfy hammocks for your cat to laze around in and catch the sun.

Kanopies

Trendy curved canopies provide sun and rain protection. Made from tough PVC and available in a variety of colours.
