'I grew up on a farm and have always craved the company of our four legged friends. I myself have two cats & a dog. A moggy, whom I saved at a week old, a red Burmese, who is very demanding, and a Brussel Griffon, who thinks she is a comedian! I have spent many hours volunteering at animal shelters and while there is a part of me that never wants to leave, I find this work extremely rewarding.'
