Grooming
Best Friends offers a full Grooming and Styling Service both for Dogs staying in the Kennels and for outside customers. Grooming is available seven days per week for Kennel Guests and Monday to Saturday for non Guests.

All grooms include the following:

• Stomach and genital area clipped or scissored;
• Between the pads clipped or scissored;
• Nails clipped;
• Ears cleaned (Otoderm or Dermaclens is used);
• Coat is brushed and any tangles removed (provided this can be achieved without causing undue distress to the Dog). Alternatively the coat is clipped off, the client is always informed before clipping off is carried out;
• Preliminary clipping and styling is carried out;
• The Dog is bathed and flea rinsed if necessary (or requested) and then blow dried;
• Final clipping, trimming, scissoring and styling is performed.
• A coat dressing and cologne such as "Lustre Aide" or "Eau De Chateau" is applied.

Boarding

All pets are housed individually at Best Friends, though multiple dogs or multiple cats from the same family can be housed together, dogs with dogs and cats with cats. Your pet will never be housed with other than your own pets.

Transport

Transport for pets for both Grooming and Boarding is available seven days per week including to and from Hobart Airport which is just 15 minutes away.

Shipping

Shipping of pets Intrastate, Interstate, and International is performed through our Agency to Jet Pets Animal Transport.
