What we do best

We provide Hobart and surrounding suburbs with exceptional quality dog minding services.
We place dogs with appropriate minders for the duration their owners are away.
Your dog will stay in a family home with dog lovers.
They will have their routines set just like home - they can sleep inside, live inside, take daily walks (on lead), whatever the owner requests.
We are exclusive! We only place your dog(s) in the family environment.
Unlike other dog minding businesses, with Dogs Holiday Havens there will be no other visiting dogs staying while your dog is in care with its minder.
We do not mass board dogs in family homes.
Have your dog minded during the day in the home of one of our caring minders, minimum 2 day booking (can be taken consecutively or split).

How we match dogs with minders

Our minders are hand-picked by us to provide personalised service.
We visit and interview all our minders, meet their dog (if they have one) and ensure their home is suitable and their property is secure.
Our minders are dog owners or former dog owners who quite simply JUST LOVE DOGS. They are mostly at home during the day and love having dogs around.
We get to know our minders and what dogs suit them.
We do our utmost to provide any service your dog requires!
You are welcome to contact your minder whilst you are away should you wish to know how your dog is. We can also email or text if requested.
