Capricorn Coast Trail Rides is owned and managed by Glen Bridgeman and his partner Madeline Chery. They are dedicated to their animals and growing their business. As the owners, they are hands on carrying out the majority of the work, trails, and lessons. They do their best to make you feel at home on horseback ensuring that each rider is carefully matched with a horse to suit their personality and riding experience.

Our trail rides are personalised and each horse ride is tailored to suit the group. From families through to those seeking adventure, we have one, two, and three hour trails which ride over the foothills of Mount Wheeler. Stroll along on horseback through unique grass tree forests and discover the hidden fantastic views of the Capricorn Coast's ancient volcanic pugs.

With Horse Safety Australia accredited trail guide and instructors qualifications their experience, skills and dedication to their horses is backed up with nationally recognised qualifications.

Having owned the trails since June 2001, Glen and Madeline's business has gone from strength to strength also offering riding lessons, horse education and training services as well as the trails.

Trail Rides

Capricorn Coast trail rides offers bush trails which take you into the foothills of Mount Wheeler through iron bark ranges and unique grass tree forests. Each of the rides takes you to a look out over the region, where you will see volcanic plugs and catch a glimpse of the ocean. The trails are guided by qualified staff, who'll give you instruction and guidance on your trail.

Lessons

At Capricorn Coast Trail Rides we believe that when learning to ride it is important to also learn how to look after horses. Our lessons are better described as horsemanship classes, where as a student you learn both riding skills as well as the skills you will need to eventually look after your own horse. We do not teach any specific discipline, but good basic riding and ground skills.
